Dr. Denise Link, PhD, WHNP-BC, CNE, FAAN, FAANP is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Professor of Nursing at the ASU College of Nursing & Health Innovation where she is Specialty Coordinator for the Women’s Health DNP concentration and practices in the campus health clinic. Dr. Link has been a practicing women’s health nurse practitioner since 1979. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Link is the Governmental Affairs Officer for the Arizona Nurses Association and co-chair of Practice Committee for the Arizona Action Coalition, leading efforts to update the Arizona Nurse Practice Act to conform with the APRN Consensus Model. She is Secretary of the board of directors for the National Nurse Led Care Consortium, and serves as chair of the Public Policy Committee. Dr. Link has served as an inaugural member of the Duke/Johnson& Johnson Nurse Leadership Program Advisory Board. She is a department editor for The Journal for Nurse Practitioner and a reviewer for three other journals. Dr. Link has published in peer reviewed journals and presented at state, regional, national and international conferences about nurse-led health care, the nurse practitioner role, interdisciplinary education, health policy, and women’s health topics.
