Faculty Advisor Certificate Program

Cheryl K. Schmidt, PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF, FAAN
Dr. Schmit has served as a consultant at local and state levels of NSNA in four nursing programs since 1970, plus served as the American Nurses Association Consultant to the NSNA Board of Directors.

This program is designed to enhance the experience and effectiveness of NSNA state consultants and school chapter advisors. Faculty will learn about the qualifications necessary for consultants/advisors to serves as liaisons, advocates, role models, and mentors. They will also discuss creative strategies to engage students in leadership and community service activities. Faculty do not have to have official NSNA constituent chapters in their schools in order to attend. They will also earn 4.25 CNE Contact Hours!


Student Registration fees:  Members $30, Non-Members $40 (after 10/16/2015 Members pay $40 and Non-Members pay $50 at the door)


Faculty Registration fees:  $20 for half-day Faculty Advisor Certificate Program

9:10am - 12:30pm, includes lunch served at 12:30


Cancellation Policy:
In the event of your registration cancellation, refunds made until October 16 minus a $15 processing fee.
